Uzair Syed

Uzair Syed is an experienced professional in supply chain finance and analytics, currently serving as Manager of Supply Chain Finance & Analytics at Houston Methodist since July 2022, after progressing from a Senior Business Analyst role. Uzair's expertise encompasses financial data analysis, cost and volume mix analysis, and the creation of dashboards using Tableau and Excel for executive leadership. Prior to this, Uzair held various positions at Academy Sports + Outdoors, including Senior Fraud Prevention Analyst, where responsibilities included risk management, automated rule framework development, and fraud prevention reporting. Additional roles at Academy involved vendor compliance coordination and production analysis. Uzair holds a Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management and an Associate’s Degree in Science from the University of Houston and Houston Community College, respectively.
