Ariel Worthy Buford is an experienced journalist and digital producer currently serving as a Senior Digital Producer at Houston Public Media since July 2022. Previously, Buford held the position of City Hall Reporter at 90.5 WESA from October 2018 to July 2022 and worked as an Editor and Staff Reporter for The Birmingham Times from June 2015 to October 2018, focusing on generating engaging content and enhancing article readability. Buford began studies in Journalism at The University of Alabama from January 2012 to May 2015, earning a Bachelor's degree while also gaining practical experience as an intern at The Tuscaloosa News and serving as a Campus Ambassador for Global LEAD. Buford's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and a solid foundation from Hoover High School, completed in 2010.
