Jared Counts

Jared Counts is an experienced professional in digital technology and media production, currently serving as the Manager of Digital Technology at Houston Public Media since February 2007. In this role, Jared oversees web properties, audio and video streaming efforts, and the research and implementation of new technologies. Prior to this position, Jared worked as a Web Developer, where responsibilities included managing and maintaining the radio station's web properties and server infrastructure. Earlier experience includes serving as the Special Events Coordinator at KUHF-FM, where Jared managed content updates, events, and wrote promotional materials. Jared holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications/Media Production from the University of Houston, obtained in 2004.
