Brandy Ruiz

Brandy Ruiz is an accomplished HRIS and Benefits Specialist at Houston Zoo since April 2013, responsible for the design and functionality of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), including system upgrades and maintenance, as well as data analysis and strategic benefits planning. Previously, Brandy served as a Human Resource Specialist III at Randolph Brooks Federal Credit Union from September 2011 to March 2013, where responsibilities included staffing support and the development of job descriptions. Brandy's earlier experience as a Branch Manager at Velocity Credit Union from June 2000 to August 2011 involved full-cycle recruiting, customer service, and financial consulting. Brandy holds education credentials from Huston-Tillotson University, SHRM, and has been affiliated with the Texas Department of Insurance since 2007.
