Tom Karni

Tom Karni possesses extensive experience in mobile application development, particularly focusing on the Android platform. At Houzz since October 2015, Tom holds various leadership roles including Engineering Manager for the pro mobile app and team leader positions for both the commerce and Android teams. Prior experience includes work as an Android developer at Mobli, where Tom specialized in the Android SDK and custom UI components, as well as at Townflix, contributing to a social video app. Additionally, Tom served as an Android course lecturer at Ben Gurion University, equipping students with foundational programming skills. Tom began the career at Mobile-Max developing unified communication applications. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Systems Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
