Olivia Ruiz-Knott

Olivia Ruiz-Knott has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2009 with their role as Advertising Manager and Counselor at FLAG Camp. From 2011-2012, they held the position of Executive Secretary at GYC, followed by Social Media Coordinator at Thesis, Inc. in 2014. From 2013-2015, they served as Communication Manager for Compassion Boston at the Southern New England Conference. In 2017, they were an Apprentice Ruby on Rails Developer at Launch Academy, Inc. and a Software Engineer at Noteflight. Finally, in 2020, they started at edX as a Software Engineer, where they were promoted to Senior Software Engineer I and implemented an MVP toward facilitating the concept of “electives”. In 2022, they began their current role as Creative Technologist at Hovercraft.

Olivia Ruiz-Knott attended Andrews University from 2011 to 2015, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Communication and Religion. In 2020, they obtained a Certificate of Completion from Udemy for the Complete Python Bootcamp: From Zero to Hero in Python. In 2022, they obtained a Transitioning to Product Management certification from LinkedIn.
