Marta Mourao

Marta Mourao has had a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry and academia. Marta worked at Hovione as a Lead Analytical Scientist in Analytical Project Management in R&D since 2017. Prior to that, they were a PHD Student at the University of Amsterdam - NanoNext NL from 2013 to 2017, where they had strong skills in writing, presentation, time management, and project planning. Marta also worked as an Analyst at Generis Farmaceutica SA Portugal from 2012 to 2013, where they gained experience in working under pressure, meeting deadlines, and teamwork.

Marta Mourao completed their Bachelor's degree in Analytical Chemistry at the University of Lisbon from 2007 to 2010. Marta then pursued a Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry from the Faculty of Sciences at the University of Lisbon, which they completed from 2010 to 2012. Marta also participated in the Erasmus Program in Analytical Chemistry at the University of Amsterdam during the academic year 2011-2012. Following their Master's, they furthered their education at the University of Amsterdam, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Analytical Chemistry from 2013 to 2017.
