Mike Thompson

Mike Thompson has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. Mike has worked at various companies in different roles, including Vice President and Director of Human Resources at Howard Building Corporation. In their role as Project Manager / Engineer / Superintendent, they gained extensive knowledge and understanding of all aspects of project management. Mike also served as a Board Member at Hope House For The Multiple-Handicapped, Inc. and as a Volunteer Mentor / Small Business Coach at MicroMentor. Prior to their career in construction, Mike served in the US Navy as a Seabee. Mike also worked as a Project Manager at Amaron Construction Corp and held positions at Johnston & Associates, Maverick Building Systems, and Lewis Homes of California.

Mike Thompson's education history is as follows:

Mike earned a PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Phoenix from 2015 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science in Industrial / Organizational Psychology from the University of Phoenix from 2013 to 2015.

In 2011, they completed an MBA in Business Administration at Marylhurst University. Additionally, in the same year, they also completed a Lean Six Sigma program at Villanova University.

In 2011, Mike Thompson obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.

Before their university studies, they studied Construction Management at Victor Valley College from 1992 to 1995.

Mike Thompson also possesses several certifications, including a SHRM-CP certification from the Society for Human Resource Management, which they received in May 2018. Mike obtained a Procore Certified: Associate certification from Procore Technologies in March 2016. Additionally, they hold an OSHA 10-hour Safety certification from the OSHA Training Center, obtained in May 2010.

In terms of licenses, Mike Thompson has a General Building Contractor license from the CA Contractors State License Board, which they obtained in 2006. Mike is also a LEED AP certified by the Green Building Certification Institute. Finally, they obtained a Construction Management certificate from Victor Valley College in 1996.
