Kris Weinhold

Kris Weinhold is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience at Howard Hughes Medical Institute since July 2000, currently serving as Director of Science Capabilities. In this role, Kris guides the strategic and technical direction of the Science Capability Team, focusing on developing custom applications and tailored websites to meet business needs. Previous positions include Sr Manager of Science Capabilities, where leadership was provided to a technology team addressing core programs, and various roles leading web application development and projects utilizing a range of technologies. Kris holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and is a graduate of the Society of Information Management's Regional Leadership Forum.
