Ronald Vale

Vice President and Executive Director, Janelia Research Campus at Howard Hughes Medical Institute

Ronald Vale is the current Vice President and Executive Director of the Janelia Research Campus at Howard Hughes Medical Institute. Prior to their current position, Ronald Vale served as an administrative assistant at Potomac Internal Medicine/Serotonin Plus from December 2011 to July 2014. In this role, Ronald was responsible for various administrative duties including maintaining medical records, managing inventory, collecting patient data, and applying payments and medical coding to accounts. From October 2005 to August 2008, Ronald served as a dental assistant and receptionist at Gentle Dentistry. In this role, they were responsible for greeting patients, scheduling appointments, collecting payments, and assisting patients with completion of forms and follow-up questions.

Ronald Vale attended George Mason University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Ronald also took classes at Northern Virginia Community College in Earth Science.

They work with John Palmisano - Chief of Business Solutions, David Clapham - Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer, and Bodo Stern - Chief of Strategic Initiatives. Their manager is Erin O'shea, President.
