Katy Snell currently serves as the Knowledge Systems and Information Manager at Howard Kennedy LLP, overseeing the management of online research databases and tools, stakeholder liaison, and key knowledge system project implementations. Previously, Katy held roles including Knowledge and Information Manager and Research Librarian at the same firm, where responsibilities ranged from budget management to implementing knowledge projects and managing research inquiries for fee-earners. Katy also has extensive experience working with ICAEW in various roles, such as Enquiry Service Manager and Senior Information Executive, where duties included library management system administration, training program development, and team supervision. Additional experience includes positions at the UK Ministry of Justice, Department for Constitutional Affairs, Law Commission, and London Borough of Enfield. Katy holds a Master's degree in Library and Information Studies from UCL and a Bachelor's degree in English and History from Queen Mary University of London.
