Rob Ashing has a diverse range of work experience spanning over 25 years. Rob started their career at Marks & Spencer as a Merchandise Assistant and then moved on to Clifford Chance, where they served as an Executive Assistant and Chief of Staff to the Board and Executive Committee.
Following that, Rob worked at Hildebrandt International as a Senior Consultant, specializing in advising law firms globally. Rob then took on the role of Projects' Coordinator at Jesuit Refugee Service, overseeing the operational delivery of projects in South Sudan.
Rob also worked as a Senior Organizational Development Consultant at Modal Consulting Limited and as a Senior Business Development Manager at Corrs Chambers Westgarth. Rob later became the Head of Business Development at King & Wood Mallesons, where they led and contributed to key integration initiatives.
Prior to their current position as Head of Operations at Howard Kennedy LLP, Rob worked as a Director at Hodgart Associates, a strategic consultancy focused on law firms.
Throughout their career, Rob has demonstrated expertise in areas such as performance improvement, lateral recruitment and development of top talent, client experience, business development strategy, and organizational development.
Rob Ashing attended Dulwich College from 1981 to 1989, where they completed their secondary education. Afterward, they enrolled at The University of Manchester from 1990 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts with Honours degree in Economics and Politics. In 1997, Rob pursued further education at Cranfield School of Management, completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program in 1998.
