Margaret Hovorka

Margaret Hovorka is an experienced Project Manager at Howard L. Zimmerman Architects & Engineers, D.P.C. since January 2018, overseeing the Alterations Department and consulting with property managers and Building’s Boards on apartment and commercial renovations while ensuring compliance with New York City’s building codes. Hovorka has held various roles within the same firm, including Project Associate III, II, and I, focusing on building facade inspections and interior renovation evaluations to enhance building quality. Prior to this, Hovorka served as an Assistant Project Manager at DK Real Estate Group, managing subcontractors for residential projects, and worked as a Staff Architect at WDG Architecture, contributing to projects from proposals to construction documentation. Hovorka began the career as an Assistant Designer at Countywide Distributors, Inc. and holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The Catholic University of America.
