Bruce Jones

Bruce Jones is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in higher education leadership and research. Currently serving as Professor and Senior Vice President for Research at Howard University since April 2018, Bruce Jones has held significant positions at various institutions, including Professor and Vice Provost for Academic Programs at the University of Houston, and the David C. Anchin Endowed Professor of Education at the University of South Florida. Bruce Jones' career also includes roles as the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation Endowed Professor at UMKC and Department Chair at the University of Missouri. The academic journey commenced with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Adelphi University, followed by a Master of Arts in Politics and Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, culminating with a Ph.D. and M.Phil. in Political Science from Columbia University.
