Steven Howe

Steven Howe possesses extensive experience in the nuclear engineering field, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Nu Planet Pharmaceutical Radioisotopes since November 2023, focusing on radioisotope production. Prior to this role, Howe was a senior researcher at Howe Industries LLC starting in 2017 and founded Talos Power LLC, contributing to research from 2015 to 2017. Steven held the position of ex-Director of the Center for Space Nuclear Research at the Idaho National Laboratory from 2005 to 2015, where responsibilities included facilitating research and education in nuclear technologies for space exploration. From 1981 to 2005, Steven managed the nuclear data program for the Stockpile Stewardship program at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Educationally, Steven earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Nuclear Engineering from Kansas State University, completing the degree in 1980.
