Katie Barela

Katie Barela possesses extensive experience in the construction industry, currently serving in Preconstruction Services at Howell Construction since March 2006. Previously, Katie held the position of Estimator I at The Weitz Company from 2005 to 2006 and worked as an Estimator at W.M. Brown Construction Corp. from April 2000 to January 2005. Throughout the career, Katie has estimated hard bids and negotiated various projects, including hotels, concrete tilt-ups, schools, tenant improvements, parks, swimming pools, and special MEP projects. Katie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder from 1995 to 2000.
