Lee Howley has a diverse work experience ranging from director-level positions in information technology to roles as a consultant and wait staff. In 2006, they worked as wait staff at Chez Francois, a five-star restaurant in northeastern Ohio. From 2007 to 2009, they served as a consultant at IT Resource Management. Lee then joined the Rochester Institute of Technology as a database analyst from 2009 to 2011. During this time, they worked on a Sponsored Programs Accounting Database. In 2008, Howley co-owned PCGamingCorner.com, a start-up in the online game and hardware review industry. From 2011 to 2012, they served as a business intelligence analyst at Edifice Information Management, where they managed the production of customer reports. At SPS Commerce, from 2012 to 2014, they worked as an operations analyst, Salesforce admin, and project manager. Lee also handled customer communications and created custom internal reports. From 2014 to 2015, Howley served as the IT operations manager at Doherty Enterprises. Since 2015, they have held director-level positions in information technology, first at HOWLEY & COMPANY and currently at Howley Bread Group, Ltd., a franchise of Panera, LLC.

Lee Howley attended Rochester Institute of Technology from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems. In 2010, Lee also studied abroad at the University of Wollongong, focusing on Supply Chain Management.
