Pilar Grijalva

Pilar "PJ" Grijalva is an experienced Quality Manager with a strong background in aerospace manufacturing and quality assurance. Currently serving at Howmet Aerospace since July 2019, Pilar manages a team conducting In-Process Inspections (IPIs) and First Article Inspections (FAIs) while collaborating with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) for government contracts. Previous roles include Quality Manager at Lobo Ventures, Quality Assurance Administrator at Chromalloy, and Quality Assurance Inspector at JBRND, where Pilar ensured compliance with FAA standards and conducted thorough inspections on aircraft parts. Pilar's foundational experience includes serving as an Aerospace Propulsion Craftsman in the United States Air Force, which provided critical skills in aircraft engine maintenance and safety inspections. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Business Administration from Jones International University and an Associate of Science in Aviation Maintenance from the Community College of the Air Force.
