In 2009, Teinilä was a Senior Trainee at Castrén & Snellman Attorneys Ltd. and a Senior Associate at Waselius & Wist in 2010. In 2011, they held a Junior Judge position at Helsinki District Court. In 2016, they were a Legal Counsel at Pöyry. From 2018 to 2020, Teinilä held two roles at Leanheat Oy: Business Development Director & General Counsel and General Counsel. Most recently, in 2021, they became the General Counsel at Hoxhunt, a People-First Cybersecurity Platform.
Tomi Teinilä attended Helsingin normaalilyseo, Helsinki School of Economics, Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, and University of Helsinki. At Helsinki School of Economics, they earned a M.Sc. in Economics. During their time at Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, they completed International Exchange Studies in Law. Lastly, they earned a Master of Laws from University of Helsinki in Law.
