Paulyn Ng

Paulyn NG is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the medical optics and vision science sectors. Currently serving as the Global Innovation Director at HOYA Surgical Optics since January 2016, Paulyn leads initiatives focused on customer-centric strategic portfolio development and effective product lifecycle management. Previous roles include Head of Upstream Research Team, where Paulyn spearheaded clinical research on intraocular lenses, and Vision Scientist at Essilor Center for Innovation & Technologies Asia, managing programs related to product segmentation. Academic contributions as an Associate Lecturer at Ngee Ann Polytechnic involved guiding optometry students during clinical practice. Paulyn’s career began as an optometrist in various clinics, specializing in contact lens fitting and patient assessments. Educational background includes a Master of Science in Clinical Optometry and postgraduate qualifications in Clinical Research and Design Thinking.
