Helen (Shin Young) Hwang has a diverse work experience history. Helen (Shin Young) began their career as a Legal Extern at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance in 2015. Their responsibilities included managing and reviewing documentation, participating in structured transactions, drafting offering documents, and preparing filings with regulatory bodies.
In 2022, Helen joined Credit Suisse as a Vice President and Counsel until 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President Legal at HPS Investment Partners, LLC.
Helen (Shin Young) Hwang completed their Bachelor's Degree in Economics-Philosophy & Math-Computer Science at Columbia University in 2010. In 2016, they obtained their Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Michigan Law School. Helen (Shin Young) also holds certifications such as the New York Bar, obtained in 2016, a Coursera Course Certificate in European Business Law obtained in June 2016, and a Diplôme approfondi de langue française (DALF) C1 from the Centre international d'études pédagogiques (CIEP) achieved in 2012.
