Sébastien Pauly

Sébastien Pauly has a strong background in finance and portfolio management. Sébastien is currently an Executive Director and Conducting Officer for Portfolio Management at HPS Investment Partners, LLC, a position they have held since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Vice President and Conducting Officer for Portfolio Management and Delegates Oversight at the same company from December 2019. Before joining HPS Investment Partners, Sébastien worked at Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. where they were a Senior Vice President and Conducting Officer from December 2018 to November 2019. Sébastien also served as the Head of Finance for Luxembourg at Oaktree from January 2014 to November 2019. Sébastien's previous experience includes roles at Capita Fiduciary Group, where they worked as a Manager in Client Accounting from April 2012 to December 2013, and at ISIWIS Sàrl as a Finance Manager from November 2009 to April 2012. Sébastien also has experience working with Alter Domus and Sony Vaio of Europe in various finance and advisory roles.

Sébastien Pauly obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Lethbridge in 2005. Sébastien then pursued a Master's degree in Corporate Management from HEC-école de gestion de l'Université de Liège and the University of Liège, which they completed between 2001 and 2006. Sébastien also has a degree in Chartered Accountancy from the University of Luxembourg, earned in 2010. In 2017, they attended the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) for a post-graduate program focused on achieving leadership excellence.
