Robert Horrobin

Robert Horrobin serves as the Vice President of Data Science & Analytics at H&R Block since March 2023, where responsibilities include managing a diverse team of data professionals to enhance business performance through advanced analytics. Prior experience includes serving as the AVP of Data Science at Pacific Life from August 2018 to March 2023, where Robert led a successful analytics strategy that significantly improved financial returns and operational efficiency while expanding the analytics team. Previously, Robert held roles at John Hancock that focused on operations optimization and financial management, establishing predictive modeling initiatives that greatly improved accuracy and financial impact within the insurance sector. Early career experience includes engineering and operations management at General Dynamics, advising on large-scale projects. Robert holds a dual MBA/MSIS degree from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Delaware.
