Jason Poppen

Jason Poppen is the current Chief Executive Officer at HR Green. Jason has over 25 years of experience in the public and private sector. Jason has a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Illinois.

Jason began their career as a Legislative Aide for the Illinois General Assembly. Jason then spent five years as the Bureau Chief of Administrative Services for the Illinois Department of Transportation. In 2000, Jason became the County Administrator for Kendall County, a position they held until 2001.

Jason joined HR Green in 2001 and has served in various leadership roles including President, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Executive Officer. Under Jason's leadership, HR Green has become one of the largest engineering firms in the Midwest with over 700 employees in 11 states.
