Scott L. Cunningham, PE, CFM has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. Scott L. began their career at TTU WISE (Now the National Wind Institute) as a Student Assistant from September 2008 to September 2010. During this time, they were responsible for filing various reports, theses, dissertations, journals, manuals, and movies into the TTU WISE library and computer system. Scott L. also conducted minor wind turbine modeling and tested the structure strength of concrete samples exposed to tornado and hurricane wind speeds at the TTU Debris Impact Cannon laboratory.

In 2012, Scott joined Jones|Carter as a Design Engineer. Scott L. worked in this role from August 2012 to January 2015, where they contributed to the design of various projects. Scott L. then advanced to the position of Associate Engineer from January 2015 to February 2017, taking on more responsibilities in project engineering. From February 2017 to January 2018, Scott served as a Project Engineer at Jones|Carter, further expanding their expertise in engineering project management.

In 2018, Scott joined HR Green, Inc. as a Lead Engineer, where they played a crucial role in the company's operations. From January 2018 to February 2022, they served as a Lead Engineer, utilizing their skills and experience to contribute to the company's success. In October 2021, they also took on the position of Project Manager, focusing on paving, water, and drainage design for municipalities in the Houston region. Scott L.'sprojects included preliminary engineering, grading, detention basins, channel improvements, storm water quality, road improvements, storm sewer and infrastructure improvements, and small diameter water transmission line design. Scott's work experience demonstrates their proficiency in engineering project management, design, and various aspects of civil engineering.

Scott L. Cunningham, PE, CFM received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. Prior to their college education, they attended Sanford-Fritch High School.

In addition to their formal education, Scott has obtained several certifications. In 2016, they became a Certified Floodplain Manager through the Texas Floodplain Management Association. In 2017, they acquired a Professional Engineering License from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers.
