Rashid Kato

Rashid Kato is an experienced engineering educator and quality assurance project manager with a diverse background in teaching and assessing engineering disciplines. Currently serving as an Engineering Lecturer and Assessor at HRUC since April 2023, Rashid also fulfills the role of Quality Assurance Project Manager at Uganda Engineering Materials & Construction since June 2021. Previous positions include Engineering Teacher and Assessor at Shooters Hill Sixth Form College, Mechanical Engineering Assessor at Brooklands College, and Lecturer and Assessor at Hertford Regional College. Rashid's earlier career included roles in health and fitness coaching and management, demonstrating a strong commitment to personal development and proficiency. Rashid holds multiple degrees in mechanical engineering and sports science, further accentuating expertise in both engineering and health-related fields.
