Trevor Jones

Trevor Jones is an experienced professional in the financial services sector, currently serving as the Head of Sanctions and Export Controls for Canada at HSBC since January 2015. In this role, Trevor oversees the Canadian sanctions program, supporting first and second lines of defense stakeholders with advisory guidance, control management, and compliance with global and local policies. Previous positions at RBC included leadership roles in AML model validation, governance, and oversight, as well as extensive management of AML investigations and compliance teams. Trevor's career spans over two decades in various capacities, demonstrating expertise in sanctions, compliance, and risk management. Trevor holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Psychology from Trent University.
