Patrick Moynihan

Patrick Moynihan currently serves as the Chief Risk & Compliance Officer at HSBC Innovation Banking, a position held since February 2023. Additionally, Patrick is a Member of the Board of Trustees for The Access Project, which aims to assist disadvantaged students in accessing top universities. Prior to these roles, Patrick spent over two decades at Barclays, culminating in the position of Group Head of Operational Risk, while also holding various senior roles including Chief Controls Officer and Chief Operating Officer within different divisions of the bank. Patrick's early career included significant positions at J.P. Morgan, Accenture, and Impact Plus, and Patrick has contributed as a Trustee for the Bank Workers Charity. Patrick holds an MBA from City University and a MEng in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nottingham.
