Matthew Dunlap

Matthew Dunlap has extensive work experience in marketing and communications. Matthew has been with the Home School Legal Defense Association since 2014, where they have held various roles, including Director of Marketing and Marketing & Communications Manager. Prior to that, they worked as a Marketing Project Coordinator and Administrative Assistant at the same organization. In 2011, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at George Mason University, and in 2010, they were a Research Assistant at the same institution. Matthew also has experience as a Mail Center Assistant at Patrick Henry College and as a Team Leader in the Virginia Army National Guard. Matthew started their career as a Mail Room Assistant at the Home School Legal Defense Association in 2002 and also served as an Automatic Rifleman in the Virginia Army National Guard.

Matthew Dunlap earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Astronomy from George Mason University, where they studied from 2007 to 2012. Prior to that, they attended Northern Virginia Community College from 1998 to 2006, where they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Physical Sciences. In terms of additional certifications, they completed the "SQL Tips, Tricks, & Techniques" course at Lynda.com in July 2019, and the "Advanced Google Analytics" course at Google Analytics Academy in April 2019.
