Michael Muniz

Michael Muniz is an experienced professional currently serving as the Vice President of Sales at HST since August 2021. In this role, Michael drives the Value-Driven Health Plan (VDHP) for self-funded and level-funded employer groups, emphasizing transparency and significant medical claims cost savings. Collaboration with consultants, third-party administrators, stop-loss carriers, and other channel partners is integral to Michael's work in providing optimal health plan offerings. Prior to HST, Michael worked at McCoy Corporation from October 2020 to July 2021 in Store Management, overseeing efficient store operations, employee performance, and various operational tasks. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science with a minor in Wildlife Management from Sam Houston State University and an Associate of Science in Animal Sciences from Blinn College.
