Niko Slavnic

Niko Slavnic is the current Director of Growth at HTEC Group. Niko has also served as a Board Member at Business Angels of Slovenia from December 2016 to January 2021, where they were responsible for connecting local startups with angel investors and VCs. Niko has also worked as an Investor and Business Angel at Optiprint, d.o.o., and as a Founder at THE Slovenia. In addition, Niko has served as a Visiting Professor at ESSCA Ecole de management and as a Lead Investor at In Your Pocket. Niko is also a Professor at IEDC Bled School of Management, and the Founder of The Slovenia Restaurant Awards.

Niko Slavnic's educational career includes earning a Type: EECPCL from Harvard Business School in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies, a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from IEDC - Bled School of Management in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies, and a PhD from University of Amsterdam in Business. Niko Slavnic also holds an IMTA - International Management Teachers Academy Diploma from CEEMAN - International Association for Management Development in Dynamic Societies in Marketing and Leadership & Strategy track and a M.Sc. from University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Economics in Economics. Finally, Niko Slavnic has earned a Phd from IEDC - Bled School of Management in Venture.
