Krish Modi

Krish Modi is a Software Engineering student at the University of Waterloo, expected to graduate in July 2028. Currently serving as the Head of Machine Learning at Wat Street, managing a team of over 20 professionals on multiple projects, Krish also holds the position of Machine Learning Research Intern at Huawei. Prior experience includes roles such as Project Lead and Machine Learning Researcher at Wat Street, and as a Perception Software Engineer at MIT-PITT-RW, focusing on autonomous race cars. Additional internships include a Software Engineer Intern position at PointClickCare and an Industry Analyst role at NGen Canada, where project databases were rebuilt and data analysis conducted. Previous experience also encompasses a Research Intern role at Stream Diagnostic, where Krish developed an innovative bladder measurement device, and a Software Developer position at Kahnscatter Services, creating an automated math problem book tool.
