Duncan Tait

Duncan Tait is a Principal Software Engineer at HUB since November 2021, leading efforts on the HUB Trade platform, which facilitates trade oversight across various asset classes. With a strong foundation in microservices and event-driven architecture, Duncan has also served as a Technical Lead, overseeing development teams and implementing complex systems using technologies like Java 17, Spring Boot, and Azure. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Software Engineer at Vodafone, where multiple microservices were developed for an ecommerce site, and positions at Digital Shadows, BAE Systems, and Thales Communications, focused on system design, development, and integration. Duncan holds an Engineering Doctorate in Systems from the University of Bristol and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Reading.
