Setanta Mathews

Setanta Mathews has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Setanta is currently working as the Director of Software Engineering at HUB since 2022. Before that, they worked at Marsh McLennan as a Principal Engineer at MMC Development Centre of Excellence from 2021 to 2022. From 2013 to 2021, Setanta held various positions at Citi, including Global Head of Data and Analytics, Securities Services Technology, SVP. Setanta was also a VP at Citi from 2013 to 2017. Prior to Citi, Setanta worked as a Tech Lead at Bloomberg PolarLake from 2012 to 2013 and as an Architect and Technical Team Lead at Pacemetrics from 2010 to 2012. Setanta also gained experience as a Programme Manager at NewBay Software Limited from 2008 to 2009 and as a Group Lead at Amdocs from 2005 to 2008. Earlier in their career, Setanta held positions as a Senior Software Engineer at Vision Consulting from 2003 to 2005, as a Software Engineer at Macalla Software from 2000 to 2003, and as a Researcher at Broadcom Eireann Research Ltd from 1999 to 2000.

Setanta Mathews earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Trinity College Dublin, studying there from 1995 to 1999.
