Sandro Tobler

Sandro Tobler has extensive work experience in the field of fiberoptics and operations management. Sandro is currently serving as the SVP of the Business Unit Fiberoptic Connectivity at HUBER+SUHNER since 2019. Prior to this, they held the position of VP of Global Operations Fiberoptics Technology from 2022 to 2023. In this role, they were responsible for managing global operations and supply chain network. Sandro also served as the Business Unit Manager of Fiber Connectivity Outdoor from 2019 to 2021, where they coordinated global operations and oversaw various departments. Before joining HUBER+SUHNER, they worked as the Director of Operations at HUBER+SUHNER Astrolab, Inc. from 2017 to 2019 and as the Head of Supply Chain Management at HUBER+SUHNER from 2013 to 2017. Sandro has also held various roles in materials management and sales at HUBER+SUHNER. In addition to their corporate experience, Sandro Tobler has also worked as a lecturer at BVS Business School, St. Gallen from 2011 to 2013. Sandro started their career as an apprentice as a polymechanic at CNC Production Shop Floor in 1998.

Sandro Tobler has a diverse education history. Sandro obtained an Executive MBA degree with a focus on Digital Transformation from the University of Zurich in 2022. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Advanced Studies in MAS Supply Chain & Operations Management from ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences in 2016. In 2010, they achieved an Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education in Logistics Management from GS1 Switzerland. Additionally, they obtained a Specialist in Business Administration and Applied Technical degree from BVS Business School, St. Gallen in 2006. Sandro also holds a certification in AUTOMOTIVE ISO/TS 16949 INTENSIVE TRAINING from SQS - Swiss Association for Quality and Management Systems, obtained in 2007.
