Russell Zimmerman

Russell Zimmerman is an accomplished attorney currently serving at Huck Bouma, PC since March 2023. With extensive experience in estate planning and probate law, Russell previously worked at Peter J. Latz & Associates LLC, where over the course of nearly six years, more than 50 estate plans and 150 probate court appearances were completed annually. Prior to this, Russell practiced at Lincoln Law Partners, P.C., focusing on estate plan drafting and trust litigation. A judicial extern for Judge Allen S. Goldberg at the Cook County Circuit Court, Russell gained insights into complex commercial cases and legal proceedings. Additionally, Russell has experience as a law clerk at Bosch and HANDLER THAYER, LLP, where skills in negotiation, litigation defense, and advanced estate planning for high-net-worth clients were developed. Russell holds a Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law, a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from Indiana University Bloomington, and a foundation degree in Business Administration and Management from the Indiana University - Kelley School of Business.
