Hillary Buren

Hillary Buren has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Hillary is currently the Director of CARC (Community Assessment and Resource Center) at Huckleberry Youth Programs since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco where they served as the Director of School Age Programs from April 2021 to October 2021 and as the Program Manager of Afterschool from January 2016 to October 2021. Before that, they worked at the Visiting Nurse Association of Kansas City as a Transition of Care Coach from September 2013 to June 2014. Lastly, at KVC Health Systems, they worked as a Therapeutic Case Manager from September 2012 to September 2013.

Hillary Buren earned a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Missouri-Columbia, from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Emory University, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including "Diversity and Inclusion in a Global Enterprise," "Inclusive Leadership," "Project Management Foundations," "Communicating about Culturally Sensitive Issues," "Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences," "Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging," "Skills for Inclusive Conversations," and "Unconscious Bias" from LinkedIn, with the most recent certification being obtained in September 2021.
