Jonathan York

Jonathan York serves as Legal Counsel at Hudbay Minerals Inc. since September 2022, following a notable tenure at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP, where positions included Associate from September 2017 to August 2022, Student-at-Law from August 2016 to June 2017, and Summer Law Student from May 2015 to August 2015. Jonathan also contributed as a Senior Editor and Associate Editor for the Osgoode Hall Law Journal from September 2013 to April 2015. Prior experience includes completion of the Financial Advisor Development Program at DundeeWealth Inc. and serving as a Lecturer's Assistant at Richard Ivey School of Business. Jonathan holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from York University - Osgoode Hall Law School and an Honours in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from Ivey Business School at Western University.
