Joe Norton

Joe Norton has over two decades of experience in the field of education technology. Joe began their career as a PTL for Computer and IT at Hopwood Hall College in 1995 and later served as Head of eLearning before becoming Director of Learning Technology at Huddersfield New College. Most recently, they held the role of Director of Digital and Independent Learning at Huddersfield New College.

Joe Norton holds a BSc in Applied Chemistry from The University of Huddersfield (1985-1989), a PhD in Physical Chemistry from The University of Huddersfield (1989-1993), a PGCE in Adult Education/Post 16 from The University of Bolton (1995-1997), and an MA in Education Management from The University of Huddersfield (2005-2007). Joe has also obtained multiple certifications, including being a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert for multiple years and holding an Adobe Creative Educator Level 1 certification.
