Torleiv Sundre

Torleiv Sundre is a seasoned embedded software engineer with extensive experience in various sectors, including seismic equipment, hydropower control systems, and maritime control systems. Currently serving as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Huddly since June 2015, Torleiv has a background in embedded software engineering from WesternGeco, where involvement in upgrades for land and marine seismic systems occurred from September 2013 to May 2015. Prior to that, a role as Development Engineer at Rainpower Hymatek AS included contributions to control systems for hydroelectric plants from November 2010 to September 2013. Early career experience includes positions as Project Engineer at Marine Cybernetics, focusing on verification of maritime control systems, and Applications Engineer at Atmel Norway, where responsibilities spanned motor control applications and customer support. Torleiv holds a Master's degree in Engineering Cybernetics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), obtained in 2005.
