Joel Zimmerman

Joel Zimmerman, CPA, currently serves as Assistant Controller at Hudson Bay Capital Management LP since June 2024. Prior to this role, Zimmerman held the position of Assistant Controller at Silver Point Capital, L.P. from July 2023 to May 2024 and at Squarepoint Capital from November 2019 to July 2023. Earlier experience includes serving as Senior Accountant at Alger from October 2017 to November 2019 and as an Analyst at One William Street Capital from April 2016 to September 2017. Zimmerman's career began at Mariner Investment Group, LLC in an Accounting & Finance role from July 2012 to March 2016. Zimmerman earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting (Cum Laude Latin Honors) from the University at Albany between 2008 and 2012.
