Dan McLeod

Dan McLeod has extensive work experience in the retail industry, with a focus on sales, operations, human resources, and profit management. Dan has held various leadership roles throughout their career.

From 1982 to 1997, Dan worked at Macy's, starting as a sales associate and eventually advancing through the executive training program. During their time there, they gained experience as a merchandise counselor, general manager, and buyer.

In 1998, Dan joined May Department Stores as a general manager, responsible for achieving financial objectives for a $22M store. Dan later became a divisional vice president and general manager, overseeing a 275,000 square foot store generating $40M in sales.

In 2005, Dan joined Pier 1 Imports as a regional manager, leading a region with 15 stores and 200+ employees. Dan was responsible for all aspects of sales, operations, human resources, loss prevention, and visual merchandising.
