Sean Philpott-Jones

Sean Philpott-Jones is an experienced professional specializing in bioethics and government relations, currently serving as Vice President for Government Relations and Grants Management at Hudson Headwaters since September 2019. Prior roles include Chair of the Department of Bioethics at Clarkson University Capital Region Campus and Adjunct Professor of Philosophy at Union College for over a decade. Sean has held significant positions such as Director of the Center for Bioethics and Clinical Leadership at Union Graduate College and Chair of the EPA Human Studies Review Board. With experience as the CEO of Verdade Consulting and a consultant for the Global Campaign for Microbicides, Sean has also contributed as a Research Affiliate at the New York State Department of Health. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Public Health Microbiology from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MS in Bioethics from Union Graduate College.
