Kate Gilliam

Kate Gilliam is a dedicated nursing professional with extensive experience in various roles within neonatal and pediatric care. Currently serving as a Neonatal Resuscitation Program Instructor at the American Academy of Pediatrics since January 2023, Kate has also worked as a Labor and Delivery Nurse at Hudson Hospital & Clinic and as a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse at Fairview Health Services since May 2019. Previous positions include Registered Nurse roles at Children's Minnesota and Southern Illinois Healthcare, as well as foundational experience as a Registered Nurse in a New Grad RN Program at Carle Foundation Hospital. Kate began the nursing career as a Patient Service Representative at Aurora Health Care and held roles as a CNA at Bellin Health and Allouez Parkside Village, building a robust background in patient care and support. Education includes a Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse degree from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College and an RN to BSN from Concordia University-Wisconsin.
