Carlos Araujo has a diverse work experience in the chemical industry. Carlos started their career at Evonik Degussa Brasil Ltda. as a Technical and Marketing Intern. Carlos then progressed to a Business Coordinator role, where they managed a $30 million annual sales business and contributed to a $14 million investment in local production capacity. Following this, they participated in an international Talent Development Program, gaining experience in sales, marketing, and business development projects in Germany, Singapore, and the USA.

At Evonik, they continued to advance their career, taking on roles such as Marketing and Pricing Manager, Business Director, Product Line Manager, and finally, Global Product Manager - CAPLUS®. In these roles, they demonstrated their ability to drive growth and develop strategic capabilities, exceed growth goals, increase annual revenue, oversee sales budgets, and lead diverse teams. Carlos also played a role in sustainability markets and led employee resource groups.

Most recently, Carlos has joined Hudson Technologies as a Director of Strategic Marketing, where they lead the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans to drive growth. Carlos is responsible for developing product and brand portfolios, making business model choices, and utilizing customer insights for effective marketing.

Carlos Araujo obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from USP - Universidade de São Paulo, where they studied from 2002 to 2007. Carlos is currently pursuing an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management, General at NYU Stern School of Business, which they started in 2021 and is expected to complete in 2023. Additionally, they hold certifications as a Certified Pricing Professional (CPP) from the Professional Pricing Society and as a Professional Certified Marketer (PCM) from the University of Mannheim Business School - Fakultät BWL, acquired in 2016 and 2015 respectively.
