Joel Strock has been a registered nurse for thirty years. Joel began their career working in a correctional facility, where they were responsible for skilled nursing assessments, medication administration, and IV therapy. Joel also mentored new nurse hires and coordinated with other medical staff to ensure the inmates received the best possible care. In 2016, they left their position at the correctional facility to work as a theater scenic assistant. In this role, they were responsible for cleaning and organizing the shop, maintaining equipment, and painting set pieces. Joel also loaded and transported set pieces from the Cheney Designs Studio to the theater and installed them onto the set. In January 2017, they left their position as a theater scenic assistant to become an RN On Call at Hudson Valley Hospice.
Joel Strock, RN graduated with an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) in Registered Nursing from SUNY Broome Community College and is certified by the NYS Department of Education in New York State RN License, American Heart Association | American Stroke Association in BLS Provider, and CT DOH in Connecticut RN License.
