Peter Phung had diverse work experience throughout their career. From 2004, they worked at Hughes Network Systems as a Principal IT Administrator I and Engineer, where they became the lead engineer for a project involving Microsoft Intune. Peter was responsible for planning, designing, configuring, and integrating the software into the company's systems, as well as providing training.

In 2007, Phung founded Atyer Service Inc., a company that offers customized IT and business marketing services. As President and CEO, they helped clients develop cost-effective solutions to meet their technology needs and business objectives. Peter focused on improving asset utilization, reducing total cost of ownership, and increasing profitability.

In 2008, Phung became Vice President and Co-Founder of All Charities Count, Inc. The organization aimed to empower individuals and businesses by providing information about charitable organizations. Their mission was to increase awareness of charitable activities and help members make informed decisions about donating time and money.

In 2016, Phung joined Secure Identity Ledger Corp as part of their Business Development team. The company offered a digital identity platform and aimed to enable consumers and businesses to benefit from blockchain technology. Phung played a role in promoting the platform and encouraging businesses and entrepreneurs to develop applications on the My Secure Ledger blockchain platform.

Peter Phung earned their High School Diploma in Computer Science from Quince Orchard High School from 1996 to 2000. Peter then went on to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, General from the University of Maryland Global Campus from 2001 to 2006.
