Jean Lenihan

Jean Lenihan is a seasoned freelance writer with extensive experience in various media outlets, including the Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Review of Books, and L.A. Weekly, from January 2011 to the present. Lenihan has also served as a writing instructor and manuscript editor since August 1986, focusing on developing writing skills across different levels. Previous roles include storyteller at KUOW Public Radio, managing editor at Amazon.com, and editorial producer at Microsoft. As a staff dance critic for both the Seattle Times and Seattle Weekly, Lenihan explored the vibrant dance scene in the Pacific Northwest. Lenihan holds an MA in Writing Seminars from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts from Sarah Lawrence College.
