Kevin O'Rourke

Kevin O'Rourke currently serves as the Thought Leadership Content Lead in Global Corporate Communications at MongoDB, starting in October 2023. With extensive experience in writing and content strategy, Kevin has held leadership roles at leading tech and health organizations since 2017, while also teaching writing courses at Hugo House since 2018. Previous positions include Senior Writer in AWS Strategic Marketing and Senior Content Quality Manager at Amazon from 2016 to 2023, and Senior Scientific Writer at the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation from 2019 to 2023. Kevin’s academic credentials include an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Minnesota and a BA in Studio Art from Kenyon College.
