Petteri Kalela

Petteri Kalela has a strong background in the paper and packaging industry with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Petteri most recently served as the Senior Vice President at Huhtamaki starting in 2023. Prior to that, they spent five years at UPM - The Biofore Company, where they held the position of Senior Vice President - UPM Speciality Papers APAC Sales Operations / CEO, UPM China Ltd. During their time with UPM, Petteri was responsible for the overall Asia-Pacific operations of UPM Specialty Paper and played a key role in setting the company's strategy. Before that, they held several senior vice president roles within UPM, leading business development projects and driving sales and operations. Petteri also has experience in supply chain management and served as the CEO of UPM Sales GmbH Germany. Petteri began their career as a mill director and eventually integrated acquired mills into UPM's operations.

Petteri Kalela received their Executive MBA from Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development from 2000 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree at Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan from 1990 to 1995.
